Pangentoman Min Tahik (Memories from the Sea): Sama Bajau Indigenous Ecological Knowledge for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience

This photo series is part of my ethnographic research with the Sama Bajau people in Zamboanga City.

My research entitled “Pangentoman Min Tahik (Memories from the Sea): Sama Bajau Indigenous Ecological Knowledge for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience” explores how the experiences and knowledge of the Sama Bajau people have helped them in changing environments. This research served as my thesis for my Master of Arts in Philippine Studies with specialization in Socio-Cultural Studies at the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.
